Wellington Elementary PTA

About

Wellington Elementary is a great school.
The PTA is what makes it a remarkable one.

Every dollar stays at Wellington. Every volunteer hour shows up in a kid's day.

What the PTA does

Wellington Elementary gets a budget from the district. The PTA is what happens on top of that.

We're the reason every teacher gets a grant to say yes to the idea they couldn't otherwise afford. We're the running club at lunch, the art lesson that didn't come from a textbook, the popcorn on the last Friday of the month that kids talk about all week. We're the bus that gets a class to the science center, and the breakfast that tells the staff someone noticed how hard they work.

None of it goes to district overhead. Every dollar raised at Wellington stays at Wellington — in classrooms, on the field, and in the moments kids remember long after the school year ends.

What that looks like in practice:

  • Classroom grants for every teacher, every year — no application hoops
  • Field trips and bus transportation
  • Makers Space, Wolverines on the Run, Art Docent, Popcorn Friday
  • Staff appreciation breakfasts and end-of-year gifts
  • Family nights — WEB Fun Night, Math Challenge, the spring auction
